Emmanuel Lewis’ net income: Emmanuel Lewis is an American actor with a net worth of $600,000. He is best known for his role as the lead in the 1980s television sitcom Webster. He then appeared in episodes of sitcoms such as In the House, Family Affair and Moesha. In the 2000s, Lewis played himself in Dickie Roberts’ comedy films: A former child starlet and a kick back to the good old days.

He’s only six feet tall. He has often been compared to (and sometimes confused with) Gary Coleman, the star of the TV series Diff’rent Strokes in the late 70s and early 80s. When the series Diff’rent Strokes became a hit on NBC, ABC tried, with some success, to copy the formula of that series, in which a young but educated African-American boy is raised by a white family. The resulting Webster show made Lewis a big star.

Early life and education : Emmanuel Lewis was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1971 to Margaret, a single mother. He is the youngest of five siblings. As a teenager, Lewis attended Midwood High School, graduating in 1989. He then enrolled at Clark Atlanta University, a historically black Methodist college in Atlanta, Georgia. In order to devote most of the year to his acting career, he attended only the fall semester at Clark University, where he eventually graduated in 1997.

Webster: In 1983, at the age of 12, Lewis made his debut in the series that would launch his fame: the ABC sitcom Webster. He played an orphan who is adopted by his godfather George Papadopolous, a retired NFL star, and his wife Catherine, a posh socialite. Lewis was nominated for four consecutive Young Artist Awards for his performance. Over the years, however, Lewis grew tired of being on the show and playing a character half his age. At 17, although still relatively small, he has far outgrown the lead role. His colleagues Alex Karras and Susan Clark agreed, leading to the end of the program in 1989. Instead of the traditional series finale, Webtrek Webster went on an adventure aboard the Star Trek Starship Enterprise in the final episode of Webtrek. On the ship he meets Lt. Worf from Star Trek: The Next Generation, with numerous flashbacks to Webster’s six seasons.

Further career development : Alongside Webster, Lewis appeared in several television specials in the 1980s and 1990s. Among them, A Christmas Dream, Lost in London, Emmanuel Lewis: My own show and the new adventures of Mother Goose. Later in the 1990s, Lewis appeared in episodes of the sitcoms In the House, Family Affair, Moesha and Malcolm and Eddie. In 2001, he participated in the children’s television edition of the game show Weakest Link; he was eliminated in the third round. This was followed by an appearance on the reality series Surreal Life in 2003. That same year, Lewis was one of dozens of real-life former child stars who performed in the film comedy Dickie Roberts: Former child starlet; others include Leif Garrett, Corey Feldman, Danny Bonaduce and Gary Coleman.

Musical career: In addition to acting, Lewis is also known in Japan as a singer. In 1981, he released two singles: Urban connection and love are DANDAN. The first title was a huge success in the country, reaching second place in the Oricon rankings.

In addition to singing, Lewis also starred in the video for Lil Jon & The East Side Boyz’ song I Don’t Give A F.
