He has been a commentator on political issues for CNN from 1997 to 2008, and from 2010 to present. Begala also worked as a political consultant for the Democratic Leadership Council from 1997 to 1999. Begala was a CNN commentator from 1997 to 2008, and from 2010 to present. Wilkinson in Kentucky in 1987, and Zell Miller in Georgia in 1990.
Begala has also served as a co-host on CNN’s political discussion show Crossfire. He was a close advisor to Clinton throughout his time as a counselor to the president in the Clinton administration. As the administration’s main public spokesperson, he assisted in formulating and supporting the administration’s objectives.
