Santana had another run-in with the authorities in March of 2018, when he was arrested at the Newark Liberty International Airport with a loaded weapon and oxycodone tablets. He ran away from the scene and remained on the run for three days before surrendering to police. Santana was sentenced to 27 months in jail and a year of supervised release in December. After spent 17 months in jail, he was eventually freed early.
